WordPress is an open-source platform for building responsive web applications. WordPress is focused on building secure, reliable, and scalable modern web applications. By allowing collideascope to build your website on a WordPress Framework, you ensure the stability and performance of your website for the long term. It has one of the largest and most active developer communities in the world.
The execution of work will start with a discovery and strategy sessions that will allow us to audit an existing site, and the client’s goals, and find opportunities for improvements with a new website.
This will ensure moving forward we have a proper reporting structure, and the new site is properly submitted to the search engines free from 404 errors and other issues. We need to ensure that the site not only works properly for users but also maintains and improves the website’s rankings within the search engines.
The design phase begins with a mood board that will ultimately provide visual guidance for the site’s future look and feel. We start by pulling inspiration from other websites, digital media, illustrations and photography. This process determines the visual elements that should be included in the next phase of the website.
Using the updated copy as a structural foundation, we’ll apply the elements from the mood board to each key page of the website. At the end of this stage, you’ll have a static version of these pages, which provide a partial preview of the final website.
Websites need to be reliable, support responsive design, load quickly, and should be easy to update with a proper content management system.
We build WordPress sites and frameworks that accomplish this, using either Guttenberg Blocks or Elementor as a foundation for your development.
In addition to an optimal framework and look and feel for the site, a strong focus will be placed on search engine optimization (SEO) to ensure the new website is search friendly. This includes creating an internal linking strategy, writing compelling page titles and meta descriptions and ensuring all page content is properly optimized with the correct HTML markup.
Once the site is moved into production it will be launched for public viewing. Throughout this process, we will complete testing, verify google analytics tracking, any form submissions, test crawl the site and submit it to the search engines.
Collideascope only hosts WordPress websites with WPEngine.com. WPEngine is a best in class hosting provider dedicated to the WordPress platform. Their technology is highly scalable, extremely fast, highly secure, and has automated daily backups and one-click recover support.
